NEW - the Gator can also be fitted with pneumatic tyres specially developed for this vehicle, or these can be retrofitted at any time and with ease. The pneumatic tyres reduce driving noise and greatly increase tyre traction.

How lovely it is to drive around, play and unload! The John Deere Gator HPX is made for taking a ride on the grass in complete safety. Drives safely on grass and, with its 12 volts, can handle even the most difficult routes with power and agility.
Its two seats guarantee many hours of fun for two. It has a huge tilting load bed that can be raised for unloading even whilst seated. The load bed, which can carry up to 10 kg, has a tailgate that can be opened and side handles for easy loading and unloading.
The John Deere Gator HPX will be your child’s best playmate for a long time. As your child grows, the load bed (adjustable in two positions) can be moved and the seat can be slid backwards to provide more legroom.       
The John Deere Gator HPX is particularly easy to drive. When released, the accelerator pedal automatically becomes the brake, so the vehicle can be brought to a gentle stop without jolting. Two speeds and reverse can be set using the gear lever. The second, higher speed can be blocked if the little driver is still unsure.
The seat is wide enough and can be adjusted in length in four positions to suit the size of each driver. It has two armrests for a comfortable and safe ride, which can be held onto on bumpy tracks. And if the ride gets even wilder, the passenger can also hold onto a handle on the dashboard and the driver onto the sturdy steering wheel.
To clear the way, all you need is the horn!  

The John Deere Gator HPX is made special by its distinctive details.  The large front headlights reflect the light, making it look as if they are switched on. The wide front bumper protects the off-roader and the battery compartment in frontal collisions. Above the large front mudguards are two drinks holders or compartments to keep everything important within easy reach.
The engine can be started in play using the key on the dashboard. Four large decorative shock absorbers and the large John Deere logo on the radiator complete the exterior. 
The John Deere Adventure Trailer (available separately) can be attached as a trailer.

The 12V/12Ah battery under the bonnet is protected against unauthorised access by a child safety lock. The battery can be charged directly from the vehicle using a normal household socket or after removal.

The Gator is suitable for children aged 3 and over.  There is no upper age limit; according to the manufacturer, the maximum load weight is 60 kg.     

The vehicle is largely pre-assembled. Clear assembly instructions in various languages with many easy-to-understand pictures are included.
