Suitable for experienced kids from 145 cm in height – that’s the HURRICANE 5000! 

At last, with this motocross bike – also known as a PIT BIKE – there’s a sensible size for children from 145 cm in height. Suitable for riders up to 180 cm tall, this bike is great fun for adults too! 

An extremely powerful 72-volt bike with an incredible range thanks to its lithium battery and fully loaded specification. The performance is phenomenal – the motor delivers up to 4,800 watts when needed! The acceleration is phenomenal! Equally impressive is the lithium battery with a capacity of 30 Ah. The top speed is already 75 km/h, with phenomenal acceleration and full off-road capability – as you’d expect.
 Driving fun guaranteed.
The advantages of electric vehicles over petrol-powered ones are obvious. First and foremost, the noise level. An electric vehicle won’t disturb the neighbours. Petrol engines are also very prone to breakdowns and require a lot of maintenance. The electric motor is maintenance-free and long-lasting.

This vehicle is fitted with a 72-volt system, a 4800-watt brushless motor and a 72V/30Ah lithium battery pack. This ensures maximum power and hours of driving fun.
14-inch pneumatic tyres at the rear and 17-inch pneumatic tyres at the front on sturdy metal spoke rims, a hydraulic disc brake system and suspension are, of course, standard. 
The speed can be adjusted to one of three settings using a switch on the handlebars; the top speed is 70 km/h. On the slowest setting, the bike travels at around 25 km/h, making it suitable even for children who aren’t quite so experienced. However, we would like to point out that, due to its power and the resulting acceleration and top speed, this vehicle is not suitable for complete beginners.

In terms of size, we recommend the dirt bike for children and adults between 145 cm and 180 cm in height. We’ve deliberately chosen not to specify an age recommendation for children, as children vary in height. Many of you may already have experience with our Hurricane 1600 or Hurricane 2000 – if so, this is exactly the next level up! 

Your bike will be delivered well-packaged and secured within a metal frame. This means transport damage is (almost) impossible.
Another very important point – we stock all the wear and tear parts and spare parts you’ll need for your bike.
